1. The U.S. Constitution has 4,400 words. It is the oldest and shortest written Constitution of any major government in the world.

2. Since 1952, the Constitution has been on display in the National Archives Building in Washington, DC. Currently, all four pages are displayed behind protective glass framed with titanium.

3. James Madison, “the father of the Constitution,” was the first to arrive in Philadelphia for the Constitutional Convention.

4. Constitution Day is celebrated on September 17, the anniversary of the day the framers signed the document.

Did you know that Florida State’s Film department was the first school to ever place First, Second, and Third in the comedy category at the Academy Awards in 2003?  In 2004, the College set another Academy record by being the first school to win five student Emmys in one year (two First Place, two Second Place, and one Third Place).

In total The FSU College of Motion Picture Arts has won a total of 30 collegiate Emmys from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Foundation.
